I had to change veterinary practices due to my vet retiring and chose Knockanboy because a friend recommended them. The staff who made the appointment by phone were very helpful and friendly and welcoming reception on arrival. The vet and nurse throughout were first class - very reassuring, informative, knowledgeable and spent extra time showing me xrays and ensuring I knew exactly what they found. Can't recommend enough, amazing service and treated my dog like their own pet.

I recently got my dog a pregnancy scan done here, they came out and took her out the back for her scan and brought her back when it was completed and announced if front off everyone that she was indeed pregnant which I knew anyway, my only concern is that there was no privacy at all, I asked roughly how many/when she'd be due and the answer I received was "its my first time scanning a dog so I'd rather not say" if I'd off been told before hand this was the case I would've happily took her elsewhere but no they were happy to take the £90 to tell me something I already knew and by the time I left everyone in the surgery at the same time also knew my business, If your looking for privacy this is definitely not the vet to go to. I wasn't the only one that was taking care of in the waiting room infront of other customers

Very caring. Our wee elderly cat needed complex surgery and she was really looked after. She was kept in overnight and the vet, Hazel, called back to see her as she was worried about her in the evening. It was expensive but it gave us peace of mind that we will have her around for a bit longer.

I moved my vet care to this practice a couple of years ago. It is more rural and not as convenient for me to get to, but it's the best practice! They care about the animals, take their time to listen to the pet owner and give the pet a thorough checkup. The practice is always clean and presentable and staff all warm and inviting. I recommend my vets to anyone who asks, I fully trust them with the care of my animals.

Have been with Knockanboy vets for a long time and have always found their care for my dogs exemplary. Vets are caring and treat the dogs with kindness. They give sound advice even when it's difficult to hear. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
